Hi, I’m Shannon!
I’m the founder and lead photographer at DellaRose Photography, specializing in maternity, newborn, baby milestone, and family portraits for Indianapolis-area families.
I’m a wife, mom of two, and a photographer who believes the best photos come from real, heartfelt moments. What started as capturing my own kids’ milestones grew into a love for photographing families all across Indianapolis.
For over 13 years, I’ve been chasing giggles, snuggles, and those tiny in-between moments that tell your family’s story. My sessions are fun, relaxed, and filled with connection—because those are the photos that last forever.

Inside My Studio in Fishers, Indiana
We call it small but mighty!
My sweet little studio is a home based studio and clients love it! It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy each other as I take beautiful photos of your little one.
I want you to feel completely at ease during your session. I have everything we’ll need to make your photos beautiful and unique — from cozy blankets and soft wraps for newborns to sweet little headbands, a client closet and carefully chosen props for those milestone sessions.
All you need to do is relax and enjoy the experience while I take care of the rest.

My Photography Style
What Makes Me Different
With almost 14 years of experience (since 2012!) photographing newborns and families, parents often tell me I have a calming presence that makes the whole process easy. Kids have fun, dads leave saying “that wasn’t bad at all,” and moms feel beautiful-even in the chaos!
I’m not just here to take photos- I’m here to create an experience you’ll actually enjoy.
Simple and Classic
My style is simple and classic. The baby is the focus and so is the family. My sessions are more family-led, so what you see in your gallery truly reflects you.
Natural Props and Parent Preferences
Most of the props you’ll see in my studio lean toward a boho and natural feel. I keep colors and fabrics flexible, based on what parents request. I don’t take full control. I always ask families if they prefer props or no props, and what color palette speaks to them. Typically, the tones are neutral or jewel-inspired, never bright or flashy.
Natural Editing
My editing style is very natural, keeping the focus on the baby and the family. This is SO important to me! I want your images to feel real, simple, and true to the moment.
Growing With Your Family
Beyond newborn sessions, my focus is to build long-term relationships with families—so we can grow together from newborn to milestone to family sessions. I’m not just your newborn photographer. I’ve been photographing families since January 2012, and I love being there to capture every chapter as your family grows.
