For over 14 years, I’ve specialized in maternity, newborn, baby milestone, and family portraits for growing families. My cozy, private home studio is located in Fishers, right off I-69 near Hamilton Town Center, just 30 minutes from Indianapolis. Designed with newborns and families in mind, the studio offers a comfortable, worry-free experience from start to finish. Parents especially love my comfy seating area, where you can sit back, relax and watch, while I guide your baby into all those perfect little poses.

What started as photographing my own little ones back in 2012 has grown into the sweetest career of capturing families all across Indianapolis. Shannon serves Fishers, Carmel, Westfield, Zionsville, Noblesville, Lawrence, and the greater Indianapolis area. Her home studio is in Fishers, right off I-69 near Hamilton Town Center. Newborn and baby sessions include use of all the beautiful wraps, headbands, props, florals and accessories she has collected over the years.
Why Fishers Has My Heart (And Will Steal Yours Too)
Fishers can be a vibrant canvas for family photography. I love keeping families around this area. It gives them many choices in the look/vibe they want to go for. From the bridge and trails like those at Flat Fork Creek to the Nickel Plate District which offers charming urban textures.
Fishers’ parks and its up-and-coming small downtown urban-ish areas are a very popular area for photographers. For this reason, I like to take my families with young children out on a weeknight if possible. This way we can get the best areas while allowing them to move and be themselves as much as needed.
The Nickel Plate District is referred to the city’s cultural heart: walkable, with public art, events restaurants, shops and the amphitheater. AND the cutest farmers market on Saturday mornings. This is where I find myself before or after a shoot depending on time. I love to grab some green tomatoes, homemade dog treats for my pup and the most beautiful arrangement of flowers (for myself).
Have I told you yet that my favorite place to eat there is Four Day Ray. They have some of the BEST street tacos and of course have their own brewery.
However, although the district downtown is a great place to shoot, I still love the natural flow of the trails and wildflowers for those younger ones. If you think this kind of backdrop fits your family’s vibe... I would love to take you to some of my favorite places and make some memories with you.
